I've had it with Windows--I'm switching to Linux
OK I STILL want to switch as far as possible to Linux. Doing "make" gives me strings of silly messages. Whan I asked about it, I was advised to re-install the libraries. How the hell do I _re-install_ something when I've no idea where from, where to or how to do it. Does Mandrake documentation tell you? Nope.

If you have used Linux for a long time then you may not have come across the reset switch, it's normally a small button on the front of the computer. LOL! Instead of putting the Windows symbol on keyboards, they should have put it on the reset button. Bill would prefer that the Windoze symbol be on all keys.

Switching from Linux... What's the deal with Netscape Navigator?
I've been using Linux, exclusively, at home since 1999. At my last computer job, I helped convince them to switch from Windows to Linux (Mandrake at first since the boss liked it, and then later to SUSE). My current job is all Linux, using mostly Gentoo and one Slackware box (mine). It's a beautiful world without

switching linux ftp servers from active to passive
I would expect that Linux would e cheaper, since Linux actually costs nothing up front to the user except the hardware which is to run the OS. It is more expensive, I believe, primarily because it is a switch. Any switch from one platform to another will incur expenses. And, to make Linux even more expensive

Why are hosts switching from Linux servers to Win Server 2003?
You think that because Linux unifies threads and processes, a switch between threads must be as expensive as a full process context switch?
